eh?

good morning readers.....

sorry its been a few days but i only post information i come around and as of my last posting, the supply has been dry. this morning however i came across a few goodies. well more or less goodies.

heres the latest......

police in AZ are highly stressing the need for more money for more gadgets and a chunk of that money is for radar guns. constantly getting better, the newer radar guns are needed to catch the ever clever speeders with their radar detectors and so forth......no more cleverness anymore eh?

in canada too, radar guns are being stressed as the constable represented in the story illustrated, that automobile accidents occur on average in canada every minute or so, making this a routine part of a cops day. the constable representive stated that of all the countless wrecks he's dealed with as part of his job, he had only witnessed one "accident", meaning of everyother wreck, someone was responsible or negligent. hows that, eh?

well thats it for now. as usual, thanks for reading and if you ever have comments im all ears. the invitation has been extended. well keep it down out there on the road, be considerate and all that jazz. i like to getting to work on time. sitting through traffic is not fun. well im out for now. eh?

slow it down

todays latest news revolving around radar guns focuses on several countries that are bringing the hammer down on speed law violators. i recieved word this morning of 3 (mexico city/paris/uk) nations that are going to great extents (mexico city most notably) to nab offenders.

mexico city prior to this latest venture (like a year ago or less basically) virtually cared less about speeding offenders. due to perhaps a large number of on-the-road casualties (and to throw in a little beauracracy), some good ole public pressure, the officials are implementing everything from radar gun-clad cops busting merely speeders to installing harsh laws for inebriated drivers (1 offense garnishes you with a mandatory 36 hr jail sentance and a repeat offense permanently revokes your license). the cops radar guns are also equipped with cameras to apparenlty cut down or eliminate the almost infamous bribe system known within and throughout mexico where more or less any offense can be lessened or forgot all together for the right price. these new cameras and the apparent sense of urgency to cease all prior behavior is supposedly running fervently throughout mexcio city.

of the 3 nations i read about today, mexico seemed to be implmenting the most radical approach, even scolding toddlers for "Driving" too recklessly on thier trikes. yikes.

the uk is apparently employing the use of volunteers and arming them with radar guns to nab repeat offenders. while the volunteers themselves cannot apprehend the violators, they can turn over the evidence to police officials who will then take matters in thier own hands and pursue the speedsters themselves.

paris too seems to be cracking down to a similar but lesser degree than mexico.

while this is "progressive" news for officers of the law, it certainly serves as a warning to those out there (and depending which of these nations you reside in the warning ranges from: watch out to or else!) who knowingly violate these laws (you know who are!).

well thats the news for now. more than likey that will be it for the day so to all my loyal readers out there, have a nice weekend and slow 'er down! or face the consequences! just kidding.

ok. im out.

the tin box nobody (probably) cares about

just a quick one for you all.

i was just reading the tripe i just posted literally no more than 2 mins ago and i noticed i psuedo-promised you all, my loyal and attentive readers, i would inform you on the outcome of some worthless tidbit of information regarding some buried tin box somewhere in idaho that "officials" of some institute were going to uncover with the trusty aid of a radar gun.

well that information is long dated at this point beyond the point of it being relevant, me caring or it even worth mentioning.

but since im trying to fill you all in on interesting, fascinating and otherwise relevant information in radar guns (and i do appreciate your readership) i thought i would touch bases on my promise.

so thats that. what ever happened to the buried tin box somewhere in idaho is not something i (or probably most of you) care about it and probably will never know.

ok. enjoy the latest information and i will post some new stuff as soon as it comes my way. take care, behave and all that jazz. you radar gun resource: "my name here".

chow. ciao. adios. goodbye. hasta manana. until next time. bottoms up. -------------- peace.

finally some information.........

This is my first official entry where I’ll actually be posting useful information but since it is my first one of these, the information is short and somewhat scattered. Not that that aspect of it will necessary change later on but now you know. Enjoy!

In a local town publication located in anywhere USA, the need for radar guns was stressed in a frustrated suburban community who were tired and frightened of cars blowing through lights and stop signs and they demanded action.

In a blurb about sports in the contemporary, technology itself was accredited for changing the game of baseball forever, of notable mention was the radar gun.

In a legal advice site, a perhaps victimized inquisitor pondered his rights to view the data on an alleged guilty radar gun. The verdict? Yes.

In lighter news, the radar gun has apparently been adopted by children in Australia as the toy of the year. Aspiring Highway Patrolmen or curious kids?

In Idaho, some research team is supposedly attempting with the aid of a radar gun to solve a 100 year old mystery(?) regarding a tin box, buried, you guessed it, 100 years ago. Will they prevail? I will or will not let you know, it all depends on FOX news who published this.

And for all you specification freaks out there here are a few sites you might find of particular interest:

Good site for industry information, certifications as well as safety precautions:

more or less how police radar guns operate (maybe you speeders can take a few tips) :

Field testing for radar guns:

In Jacksonville, FL apparently, state troopers are going incognito as road repairmen to bust traffic violators.

Here is some really technical jargon for all radar gun-heads:

and thats the end of this post folks. cheers. sincerely, the keyboard monkey.
