Oklahoma State sheriff deputies says that trailer that speeders past (and sometimes don’t even pay attention to) is their first warning to slow down. These trailers will serve a big purpose indeed, though most of the drivers don’t even know that.

As in every state, there are people speeding all the time. Some days are worse than others, usually more on the weekends, because people are going places and doing things. Some of the drivers even speed right through the stop signs too.

So, after several complaints, county sheriff offices decided to pull out some reinforcement. And the main purpose of this reinforcement is that aggressive drivers realize what the speed limit is and slow down. Because officers don’t want them to hurt people or themselves.

The trick is that inside the trailer is a radar detector, which displays the speed of a driver. The drivers will be able to see how fast they are going. It's like Radar Trailers for continuous speed monitoring in School Zones. So, it’s going to be also like a warning, because the next time there might be a police officer with a police radar gun sitting there ready to issue a driver a citation for speeding.
